Ruzafa: Hip, central, full of cafés and restaurants. The nomad heartland.
Benimaclet: Student neighbourhood with excellent independent restaurants and a village feel.
El Carmen: Historic, atmospheric, central. Higher prices but extraordinary surroundings.
Practical Information
- Visa: EU citizens need no visa. Non-EU citizens should look into Spain's Digital Nomad Visa, introduced in 2023.
- Healthcare: Spain has excellent public healthcare. Private health insurance is affordable.
- Banking: N26, Revolut, and Wise all work well in Spain.
